Senior Software Engineer, CBS Sports Digital

To be successful at this job, you need to bring a winning attitude and mad coding skills. Your-Day-to-Day: * Design and develop new business-led content management features with an emphasis on performance and user experience * Write PHP code to extend and enhance the CBSi proprietary CMS application * Deploy periodic CMS upgrades and maintenance releases of QA and production environments. * Provide engineering support to stakeholders, ensuring a high level of application availability Key Projects: * Develop tools enabling editors to create visually-rich and data-driven content experiences * Integrate content classification ML / AI processes to better annotate video and image assets * Streamline workflows to allow stakeholders to produce more content quicker * Adapt and optimize current systems for deployment on cloud-based infrastructure * Facilitate better content distribution and aggregation within the various business units. * Consolidate a variety of distinct CMS platforms used within the business
