CRM Associate
š Description
⢠This position is a hands-on contributor responsible for building and optimizing lifecycle marketing campaigns across one vertical pod (Insurance, SMB, Home, Personal Finance, or Growth) at Forbes Advisor. ⢠This role combines technical execution, A/B testing, and data analysis with a strategic lens toward monetization and user experience. ⢠The ideal candidate brings a strong understanding of HTML email structure, JSON formatting, CRM campaign tools, and end-to-end QA processes. ⢠This is an opportunity for someone who can operate both tactically in campaign systems and strategically in aligning messaging to monetization outcomes. ⢠Journey & Campaign Execution: Build and deploy email and SMS campaigns using HTML templates, WYSIWYG editors, and JSON-based dynamic content structures. ⢠Manage campaign QA end-to-end: verify content, segmentation, dynamic logic, event triggers, and link tracking. ⢠Troubleshoot rendering issues across devices and inboxes; partner with Design or Engineering as needed. ⢠Use event logs and platform tools to debug audience or event-based logic issues. ⢠Maintain QA documentation and tagging standards to ensure clean and auditable campaign records. ⢠A/B Testing & Performance Optimization: Design and execute A/B tests on subject lines, layouts, content blocks, segmentation, and send times. ⢠Set hypotheses and determine testable variables that align with CRM objectives. ⢠Track and report campaign performance using dashboards and spreadsheets. ⢠Extract insights from test results and recommend actions for journey-level optimization. ⢠Data Handling & Audience Management: Build and manage audience segments based on behavioral, demographic, and transactional data. ⢠Collaborate with Product and Data stakeholders to ensure events and attributes are flowing correctly into CRM. ⢠Use event-based logic to control journey flows, message timing, and dynamic personalization. ⢠Understand the structure of event schema and how to translate business logic into CRM campaigns. ⢠Cross-Functional Support & Collaboration: Partner with Editorial, Design, and Product to bring CRM journeys to life with cohesive copy, creative, and CTA strategies. ⢠Represent CRM perspective during cross-functional reviews and QA sessions. ⢠Provide insight into campaign performance and CRM engagement metrics in team or stakeholder meetings.

⢠Detail-oriented with high standards for QA and campaign polish. ⢠Technically curious: excited to learn how events, attributes, and schema impact execution. ⢠Excellent time management and the ability to juggle competing deadlines. ⢠Strong written and verbal communication for cross-functional work. ⢠Growth mindset and openness to feedback and new learning. ⢠Experience with scripting languages or templating logic (e.g., Handlebars). ⢠Exposure to schema debugging tools, API documentation, or basic SQL. ⢠Experience integrating CRM with 1st-party data platforms or analytics tools.
